(Genesis), a leading developer and manufacturer of minimally invasive treatments for occlusive vascular diseases, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded the company another patent (Patent No. #7,011,654) for its unique endovascular technology. This patent is applicable for the use Genesis tubular mesh braid technology for drug delivery.

The device also allows the physician to use the funnel to remove emboli and thrombi from the treated vessel by using simple aspiration from a syringe.
