REDWOOD CITY, CA ( October 21, 2003 ) Genesis Medical Interventional, Inc. (Genesis), a leading developer and manufacturer of minimally invasive treatments for occlusive vascular diseases, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded the company another patent (Patent No. 6,635,068) for its unique endovascular technology. This patent is applicable for the use of proximal occlusion when treating occlusive vascular diseases.
